Poem -

Still

Still

 I am not perfect.
I am human
I am a human in love
I bend and stretch to make you happy
I learn what pleases you and I grow as you grow
I've been broken and learned to put myself back together time and time again
I have watched you make mistake after mistake
But I didn't judge you
Instead I was patient
Waiting until you decided you were tired of being a boy
And decided to become a man
After you'd barried your insecurities inside other women
After you'd went out and showed different sides of you to different people
After you divided yourself and left me with the smallest piece
And as you walked into a new life
I was the only one there to wave you goodbye
And though you've broken me I am a patient heart
And I love you still
