Poem -

still yellow

even as I hold you I want to bring
you back to life to restore your
tiny head to something better
better than this flopping neck with
black cat kiss bestowed and even
as

I remove you from her monster
teeth that stole your breath a
needless thief I forgive her callous
blackness and the catness that
she is and even as

I fight with nature's cruel eye and
hate her wanton die and die I
cannot help but notice that tis
pointless tears cry and

your beak is still yellow

Aw it's bloody true, I love my cats but it kills me every time!! So needless, I always wrap them and put them on my bathroom windowsill as I have to be sure they are dead before I bury them. At a certain time of year my kids refer to my bathroom as 'the tomb' lol x

Did you know it's a true fact that cats bring presents to their house to their owner? I'm not sure everyone would know this, but it is a true fact. They are presents. 😺 Now if only we could teach them to shop for us at Xmas lol hugs to you Marion 🌹
