Sting First

Blade, knives, words, bees

Sting First

The blade of a thousand knives pierces right through my skin draining me of the life I live through words spoken so viciously one after another sometimes they hurt just a little but sometimes they hurt a lot doesn’t matter the word or context it’s spoke it’s been released without a thought those knives dig deeper the more hatred you spread some filled so poisonously I dare to dread how many lives will have been drained with these words that are spoken will they feel the knives as they pierce their skin or will they be more poisonous were the giver takes the blade because the tables have turned so now it’s their time to feel the pain I heard a phrase I never heard before it states, You win more flies with honey, but if you get yourself a bee, sting first. (Heard it in a TV series called Ginny and Georgia.)
