Stolen Secrets

Stolen Secrets

The moment I looked into your eyes,

I knew you would be trouble,

Those deep, dark eyes hold too many secrets,

And I’m the only one to blame.

You made me feel special,

As if we were the only ones in the room.

But when I opened my eyes, you opened the door,

Now we’re not the only ones anymore.

I see you standing there,

But you’re not looking at me.

You found someone with darker secrets,

But she stole them all from me

Now when I open my eyes,

You’re nowhere to be seen,

Lost in the crowd,

You ran away from me.
