Stonehenge

Stonehenge

Neath Luna’s amber shine
Folklore and reality intertwine
Etched in weathered stone
Chronicles perch on throne

Silenced by years of ruin
Bemused tis harvest moon
Timeworn wonder still stands
Upon hills made of sands

Stunning twas beauty raised.
Druids undoubtedly amazed
Many theories to why erected.
No definitive proof detected.

For those that dare to dream
Surmise one’s own theme.
Behold novice sleuth.
Splendor tis seeking truth.
