Storm Eunice

windy and rain storm

Storm Eunice

The sky begins to darken
as rain will soon lash down
winds blasting from the west
hitting many a city and town

batten down the hatches
this storm will be fierce
trees and houses will be hit
howling gales that pierce

all roads and bridges closed
and no trains will run today
all schools are empty now
not a child seen out to play

it`s best to remain inside
safe from this violent storm
while winds and rain rage on
where we`ll be save and warm
