Storm Petrel Rising

Storm Petrel Rising

Cast your eyes to the sea
and to the wind lads ..
Come savour that salt on
your beards ..
Cast your eyes to the sea
and the sky lads ..
That’s not
just a blur on the horizon
out there ..
But the upswept and the
spiraling
spray first formed and then
foamed ..
By those
great angry clouds off them
backs of
those storm petrel rising ..

Hi Neville, I must echo what Tina said. This has that old feel of sea shanties. I could smell the ocean spray from your imagery. A wonderfully painted poem my talented friend
