Stranded

Stranded

For years I was stranded,
on an island away from you,
I was desperate for the one,
that would sail my ocean blue.
I was looking for my purpose,
and I wasn’t even sure.
I was searching on the surface,
for the love on bottom floor.
I couldn’t even fathom
that right beneath my feet,
a woman wept and prayed for me
with tears still left to weep.
This journeys been so crazy,
and it’s only just begun.
My Dear our fears may kill us now,
but our love's already won.
