A Childs Treasure

A little girl casts a grin
to all that tell her she cant win.
Now looking to mother for consolation,
she feels the lack of reciprocation.
She's growing up and feeling pressure
of all the dormant fear based torture.
A mother looks with eyes of wonder,
to a child that aims to scorch her.
This game of karma that they play,
is one where children disobey.
For if she goes with mothers mind,
then she'll lose herself in time.
But in the now she has to grind,
and bury all the truth she hides.
So mother’s eyes cannot glide
and focus on what's deep inside.
