Poem -

Strange Man

Maybe I've been dreaming
Been walking these dark roads for miles
There is a light ahead and it's beaming
A strange man walks before me
I don't like the way he smiles

The court case is almost finished
Seems the jury is still out
Forests lights up with darkness
Wicked winds have joined us from the south

Wires have crossed
 I feel a strange connection
 Buried deep in my soul
I look dead straight into the mirror
My eyes veer away and they begin to role

That strange man keeps haunting me
He walks crocked he just stands and stares
He's got blood red eyes and ragged teeth
Connecting with me in my nightmares

I feel a mystery in my senses
As though one can't hide from himself
That strange man can't help but follow me
Books continue to plummet from the shelf
