Strangers

Strangers

What if you saw me...

only by looking on the inside;

a truer reflection than anyone else can see.

And what if you began to learn...

more than most,

the deeper part of me.

Then what if you could feel

a mysterious soul connection...

that tied our hearts together.

Would it be fate?

Would these feelings be false?

Could your soul

feel love for someone

who your eyes never saw?

What if this has happened

only by not looking at the flesh;

an untrue reflection of the soul.

And what if you began to love,

more than most,

the deeper part of me?
