Strangers on a train

I look around from face to face
Searching for someone pretty
When I look and catch your gaze
And my heart leaps into a ditty
The first thing to do is look away
Too excited to concentrate
Yet my eyes cannot help but stray
All logic in me dissipates
My heart flutters high into heaven
When I start to see every inch of you
A man should always pay the utmost attention
When a beautiful creature he sees new
And I start to imagine how comforting it would be
To spend just one hour in your company
I’ve all these thoughts you just can’t see
Yet no idea what you feel for me
My eyes travel from your face up high
Down your exquisite frame
To find your spectacular thighs
But I’ll never know your name
For the writing’s clear and the rules are plain
You do not talk to strangers on the train
You fall in love but all in vain
And you never get her name
