Poem -

Such a World Could Bring

Its funny how the world

Could beguile overnight

As if it’s competing against time.

Or maybe it’s just me.

This world, I no longer comprehend

And everything about it I loathe with complete odiousness

I loathe the sadness, the labor, and the trauma such a

World could bring

If only I could stop time-Or even reverse it and visit

The world I use to know-Would that help?

Would it cease my thirst for freedom?- freedom from these scars

Such a world could bring?

If I runaway- far and deep

Will I escape these responsibilities?

Heartbreaks, depression and trauma

Such a world could bring?

If I were to hide- swaddle myself away from time

Will this horrid world fade from me?

Will the next be any better?

Would my wounds heal by then or continue to bleed crimson?

Will I ever make it in such a world?

Will my enthusiasm continue to wither?

Will this torture, this agonizing pain ever stop?

or will it be me whom may wither in such a world?
