~Suffocating Thoughts~

Remembering a time long ago 

I  had buried away locked up inside 

And a song brings it rushing back 

It was a moment of despair 

I wanted to forget then sadness filled in 

The pain was excruciating and consuming 

Something that was deep in my mind 

Was awakened by a song forgotten in time 

A darkness that swallowed me

An emptiness feeling like being smothered 

Under continuing black crashing waves 

Suffocating in my thoughts 

My demons are dancing in my torment 

Screaming from inside I can't breathe 

All my emotions are drowning me 

I feel so empty and hollow and dead inside 

This is depression suffocating thoughts 

Killing me slowly I just fall into myself and disappear.
