Poem -

Suicide

Was life really that bad,

was your heart that sad,

that you couldn't live another day,

in your heart, you knew you couldn't stay.

Did you even think about the ones you left behind,

did they even cross your mind.

Why did you use your fathers gun?

The pain you caused, you were his only son.

Your sister found you on the floor,

she stood there by the door.

Unable to look away,

she couldn't move, she was forced to stay.

You sent a message to a friend before,

saying goodbye and telling her what you had in store.

You then turned off your phone,

so you could die alone.

What was going through your head,

there was so much you left unsaid.

Why did you end your life?

Your death was as sharp as a knife.
