Summer Rain

Summer Rain

Windswept hair falls across a perfect serenade
Linger in the mirage of your paradise eyes
Lost in the desert circling your sunkissed sand
Burnt by the flame of desire of a craving man
Sweetest sting of a scorpion upon my skin
Raptures your love like a ferocious fever
Wind of change unearths my heart like a sand storm
Into the open arms of the sunlit queen
I rise from the tomb of lonliness and fall to love's knees
Shaking as fear burdens my dusty sky
The whisper of the wind calls like a summer rain
The pain in my shadows dance away
In the mirage of your eyes I softly sway
Calm the hurt hiding inside this honey heart
Together pouring like a summer rain never shall we dance apart
