Summer in the spring

Summer in the spring

The pendulum swings both ways
Time passes by
The sunset on the strip
Reflected in your eye’s
I can remember the cold winter nights
As I looked into your eye’s
You swore that you would always be
By my side

It’s just like summer in the spring
Like a snow cloud
In the rain
Never knowing
What it will bring
Just like summer in the spring

Tidy up those tears away
Think of blue skies and a brighter sunny day
Clouds of emptiness
Above you head
You know you won’t be
Better off dead
I think that’s about everything said
