The Sun and the Cedar

The Sun and the Cedar

my love lies on the floor
a cedar unmoving
wrapped in red

from my eyes it begs
for only drops
before its end

my gifts enroute stolen
by an unforgiving sun
over an unforgiving land

i question the sun and the cedar
the rhyme and the meter
and bow my head
in the sand

I'm sorry the cedar didn't make it either...it's almost comical because you'd think that i'd have some say in it, but i didn't...lol...peace to you, Cherie.
