Sun The Moon

"Good day", Says the sun as it sets with the light
And greets the moon, who takes over in the night.
Stars come out gleaming with brightened smiles,
Shine upon wishful hearts from millions of miles.
The moon glows brilliantly, full moon round.
Said with a calmful whisper, "Good night." To the people settling down.
Who are called to sleep by their tiring beds,
Hopeful of good forthcoming dreams to fill thoughtless heads.
The moon never sets, it vanishes in the light.
"Good morning!", Says the sun rising bright.
Lifting lingering darkness to the day,
But soon that light will eventually fade away.
And once again the sun will say
To the nightly moon, "Good day."

Well Mr. Ambassador thank you very much. I didn't think this would be like a cool bed time story but I hope your son enjoys it.
Devon nice write
Thanks Mark, and good day to you.
Hey C, iam so thankful of your support with all my writes and am so blessed the support you give to my versatility which really helps. This is an old one I dug up and polished a little bit and I definitely see that adaptation of a children's story paying my tribute to night and day. So much of my Love Respect and Appreciation to you.
