Sunday Morning Blessings

Sunday Morning Blessings

A beautiful Sunday morning,

The sun sparkles in the sky.

The bare trees wave along,

As a cold chill passes by.

Warm in our car,

We drive through our hometown,

Telling jokes and stories,

Laughter is the only sound.

We look back at our son, who smiles from ear to ear -

I thank God for my blessings,

As my eye fills with a tearĀ -

A tear of joy, a tear of love, a tear of pure emotion -

A blessed Sunday morning - filled with happiness and devotion.Ā
