Sunrise

Orange, yellow

The brilliance of the colours

How the orange began to darken

How the yellow brightened

The beauty of a sunrise.

The clouds looked animated

Yet shone with a blue light.

Night time darkness

Drifted away for it's rest

As the sun awakened

Lighting the world up

Like fireworks on may2:4

The beauty of a sunrise.

City lights that looked like stars

Began to sleep once more

Waiting for the sun to

Bring colour to the darkness.

Birds awoke, soaring through the sky

Bringing the morning melodies with them

The beauty of a sunrise.
