Sunset Telling

Sunset Telling

I stare into the sunset and I see
My family waiting happily
I see the future I see the past
I see my grandma laugh her last laugh
I see my my mom on her high school prom date
And my little sister's first piece of vanilla cake
I see my dad's joy of getting a house
And my Aunt screaming because of a mouse
I will say it is nice to see
My family waiting just for me
I should probably do something soon
Before I cause an emotional monsoon
And before I go I think it is safe to say
Today will be my day
To make my life my way
