Superhero Poem

I can't help but play the hero

it may get me killed

but still like Spiderman

I'm taking a leap off this roof

and diving to catch you

I'm spinning a web to capture your heart

my hold is strong enough to prevent it from falling apart

It's safe here 

I'm guarding these metropolitan skies

jumping over buildings like Superman

I am ready to fly

faster than the speed of sound

accelerating toward love

nothing could stop me from rescuing you

I always plan ahead

I ask myself

what would Batman do

I know superheroes do not exist

but like one I'm taking a risk

with Green Arrow's precision

I am focused on your heart

It is my target

my aim is steady

I will not miss
