Surgical Prowess
Inimical and intrusive,
Spectators and crude,
Incisions obtusely,
Macabre setting and mood.
Rudimental procedures,
Barbarism, exploratory,
No standard to adhere to,
Students in a laboratory.
Tentative in wonder,
Profuse in exams,
Participate in blunder,
Juniority healing hands.
Time serves humanity,
Pioneering in ways,
Null of mundanity,
Abundant expertise.
Surgical prowess,
In depth conceptions,
Ultimately wow us,
Wonderous professions.

I loved reading this which immediately transported me to my days in Bologna University where they have the most wonderful Teatro Anotomica where their medical students were taught over 500 years ago...Well constructed , interesting and very readable! Lodigiana x
