Poem -

Survivor

The bruises have began to heal, the marks have finally scared,
A lasting reminder of my ordeal,
On my skin permanently marked.

But the bruises you can't see,
And the scars that arnt visible,
Are all inside me,
In my head to make me miserable.

I have suffered the loss of love,
And lost all of my friends,
My home I've had to move,
And to my family make a Mends.

My journey is very long,
My path awfully windy,
But I am feeling very strong,
And one day I'll be free finally''
