Survivors Of Loneliness Plague

Survivors Of Loneliness Plague

Seen through your eyes
A man who's lost a lot in life
Would close his heart
On the ones to love
Carelessly watching them slide
Through your rough and rugged open hands.

Turning away now without a care to watch,
Out of her cold vision
I prefer to be me than allow the heart to freeze
Neglecting flesh and blood
Just to relive a passed on wasted youth
Because she grew up young
Making a choice that I didn't choose,
Strange to herself, stranger of the family.

Loneliness holds these poor souls
With thick black blood,
Sharing in common....that they never found
True love.

Wow D!!........this is sadness...........this is loneliness come to life though these well delivered phrasings...........there also seems to be some serious anger running through this............I got tripped up a bit by the "Thick Black Blood" line (would love to know what that means exactly)...........but the tone.......the ambiance you've created is powerful...........well done brother............Love and Rockets!!............T xo

Thanks a lot bro T, I used the thick black blood to single them out as lonely people who have hearts of black. I questioned this myself at first after I wrote it but it sounded good lol. Love and respect.
