Hot & Sweaty ?

Layered up like an onion
I braved the Arctic chill
Dressed up like an Eskimo
Looking fat against my will
I had completed a mile walking on the flat
Then my cheeks started burning so I took off my woolly hat
Strolling on around a corner I had a moment by a brook
A fellow rambler passed by me
He gave me a peculiar look
I guess I appeared rather large
Resembling a mountain yeti
Just as well he didn’t pause to chat
My goodness I was sweaty ?
Strolling on I had to climb a couple of steepish hills
This was making me even hotter
I was rosy red about the gills
Blinkin’ heck I cast my top layer
My winter waterproof coat
I almost died of fright
Was startled by a mountain goat
Well what goes up must come down
So I almost descended like a ball
Stumbling & side struttingÂ
I had to be very careful not to fall
Phew I was hot just like a chilli dish
I was fedup of all this baggage
Ah well not long to go I wish
But there you go I had to lug my coat, hat & top layer
The midday didn’t have a breeze to cool me, it was humid but fair
Now I’d conquered five miles
A rigorous sheer workout
Surely It had counted lots of calories
Of this I had no doubt
Yahoo I was home,Â
Buckled up I opened my door
I peeled my sweaty clothes off
Then I crashed onto my floor
Moral of this ditty is next
time I dander on a winters day
I definately won’t be wrapped up like puff pastry I gotta say
When you exercise you feel the heat
From top of your head down to your feet
Do not layer yourself like I did
Because I made myself deadbeat?
