Sweetness and light

Awwww...
I never ever meant to make you cry
Well if I thought for one minute tears were rolling down your pretty cheeks I think that I would die
I was in a dark, dismal place of doom I cannot tell a lie
When I penned my peice of pitiful poetry with a teardrop in my eye

Alas I should think before I write about the person who may read my words 
I need to be that reader’s eyesight
Never in a millions years would I want to make them uptight
But the fact of the matter is not everything can be all sweetness and light
