A privy of secluded serenity
Betwixt a valley in the hills
A stunning silhoutte for such an
accomplished artisan to actualise her skills
The ‘Sycamore Gap Tree’ or ‘Robin Hood’ tree as known 
Stands shaded in the shelter of the Northumbrian throne

An atmospherical, ethereal heavenly delight
Oozing an unworldly, metaphysical illusions
On the darkness at the dead of night
Below a blinking blanket of clear, twinkling stars
The solitude Sycamore stands the test of time
So eeringly beautiful,
E’er majestically sublime

A local landscape loved by all
A circular trek along the World Heritage ‘Hadrian’s Wall’
Follow the footpath with your hiker’s map
To the iconic Northumbrian ‘Sycamore Gap’
Many a man has gazed at the loneliness of this solitary tree
A mystical, mirage so liberated & free
