Sympathetically Kind

Another spotlight on a suffering soul
Living has lost her self control
Today she is plastered on every page
Her happiest moments stood on a stage
Alas a nation weeps for this troubled mind
Too late to put suicidal thoughts behind
How sickening is the saddening truth
A beautiful body with only pictures as proof

One’s actions speak so much louder than words
Yet words are spoken with the media’s absurds
Painfully penetrating wounds like a knife
Shattering and splintering an innocent life
When will humanity ever take heed
Not to follow like sheep sowing a seed
Nor to spread idle gossip from things that are said
Analyze what one has heard and whatever is read

We are all in awareness after an event
Showing and saying our condolences meant
Tho too late is the cry and at mortalities cost
As heartaching has caused lives to be lost
Yes one is left in the lurch wondering why
A beautiful personality wanted to die
when all is said and done us the media are blind
We should learn from this hopelessness to be sympathetically kind
