Sympathy For The Devil

Sympathy For The Devil

I would say

Please to
meet
You

But from an
Early Age
You already
knew my
Name

So Lets skip
the Formalities

For Centuries
Now
There has been
a misconseption
As to how
I Work

When the song
came out
That said
I went down
to Georgia
looking
for a
soul
to Steal

I found that rather
Humorous

I am not in this
to take one soul
As
When I take..............

I plunder
a whole
generation

Thanks
to me
Society
believes
they are
entitled

the young
folks
and the elders
who taught
them
Believe
It is all
about
them

College Kids Protest In the Streets
about issues
that none of them really experienced
but they were told
to scream Racist
While the Blue collar White folk
burn their Nikes
enraged of the disrespect
over the National Anthem

All the while
I have managed
to have them
forget
the one
element
that would
be the redeemer
of their soul
and
that is
compassion

You see
while
they
are busy
causing
division
in their
soceity
over trivial
things

Countless Children
in Sudan
are left to starve

Six Year Olds In Congo
are placed
in the Rebel Militia
to kill
and are robbed
of their Innocence

Sex Slaves
Are forced
to do unspeakable
acts
while they
Travel the Caravan
To the US Borders

Compassion
is ignored
Vanity
is My Veil
You have
worn so well

So Yes I have
been very
pleased
to meet
You
As you are just
a Chess
piece
in
My Game..........................

Dear Greg,

No "Stones" I ever leave unturned
I roll them over, and under place
The evil that will grow each day
And destroy the human race

Peace, Love, and Compassion,
Larry xxx
