I wrote this song to be seen as either a conversation or an inner conflict of debate within ones self.

Pardon me, I’m new to this Christian thing, and I’m confused about the man up above
How do I make it to spiritual transformation, I wanna feel all his peace and his love
You see, I prayed last week and for the very first time, and I felt all this comfort inside
But how do you know it’s not just self therapy, and the comfort is all in your mind?

Well, It’s hard to believe it’s all in my head, when I walk around feeling so loved
Besides, I would rather worship a God who isn’t real
Than reject a God who was

I get what you’re saying, but still I long for more
How do I truly get to know our one and only lord?
It’s hard to believe in something I cannot see, but I want the feeling that I had on that floor

God isn’t something you can physically see
But isn’t feeling him all that you need?
Dive deeper into that feeling you felt, surround him in every part
And ask him to enter your heart

I feel every word that you’re saying now, and I feel that God wants me
But how will I ever get along with other Christians, they can be pushy

Not all Christians handle things that way, but as for the ones that do
(They Do It Cause) Having a relationship with Christ is amazing, they want to share this world with you

Wow, I never really thought of it like that
But what about their judgement cause I do not like that
Besides, I have a struggle that no one can relate to
I’ve seen the way that Christians get, they become so hateful

That’s imperfect humanity
Not the the powers to be in Christ
You’re never alone, so let it be known, your story could change somebody’s life
Plus, never forget that God knows your heart and he sees your sacrifice 
So ask him...

I can't listen to these Christians who can't relate to how I feel
You're the only one who knows my heart, the only one who knows the deal
I'm confused about your word, I really need to know what to do
