Take me where the Wild Things are

Take me where the Wild Things are

Take me where the wild things are
In forests deep with towering trees
and paths forever winding

Take me back to where the lions roar
late into the star kissed night
The feline king of Kings.

Take me where the wild things are
where creatures lurk in bottomless ocean
to hear the whales calling

Take me where the wild things areĀ
where the rivers rapids are rough
and waterfalls are gushing

Take me where the wild things areĀ
In valleys low and mountains high
The sun's sweetly seducing

Take me where the wild things areĀ
Where the leaves of fall change marvelous colour
Pink skies are adorning

Take me back to my childhood innocence
when I was the apple of dads eye
Those days we'd go exploring

Take me where the wild things are
where elephant and bear roam wild and free
Oh there, my soul will sing.
