Take That Job And Shove It

For a month my Linda’s been trying, to find another job;
After my unscrupulous son decided, her dignity, try to rob!
She has filled out applications, her accounting skills so great;
Yet no positions have been offered, her aspirations fast abate!

But I have told her not to worry, she’ll not punch a clock again;
For our Art Business is really booming, our accounts are on the mend!
My fifty years of knowledge, so versified on Fine Art;
Is all we’ll ever need again, to make our brand-new start!

So she won’t worry about commuting, my Linda will work with me;
We’ll be together, never parted, and how happy we both will be!
I was dreading our separation, each day she’d have to leave;
But now, we’ll be inseparable, in each other e’er believe!
