Taking Out the Garbage

Open your windows
my closed minded friends

Take a deep whiff

That is the sickly smell
of putrid prejudice
wafting through the air

Like eggs gone rotten

This stench of ignorance
is a malignant growth

The current festering infection
plaguing our national conciousness

If we do not remove
the tumor of hatred
at it's core source
our once great nation
will surely succumb
to a death self inflicted

If we manage to survive
our collective madness
the healing process
is gonna be a bitch
but maybe the cliche
"What does not kill you makes you stronger"
is not a dumpster fire of bullshit
