Talentless

The Parable of the Talents
For the life of me, I greave
for the Slave who did receive
One Talent.
One Talent is not much, and this
slave hid it in a plot,
as he was afraid he lost the lot,
The other two, invested and gambled
as they could afford to lose..
That poor Slave thrown out..
of his Masters house, in to the darkness,
For saving the exact sum entrusted,
is a tragedy of vileness, it shocked
me in religious scripture..
the intollerant vengeance of a father figure..
who valued profit and gambling more than loyalty..

Hmmmmm...
this poem calls for careful observation
I didnt understand it at 8 years old, ungrateful master.....
Am totally lost in the last sentence... "Who valued profit..."
though no need for much explanation, is a great work.
Awesome write
One of those things Greg, that strike you very young, and you cant figure out why adults dont see it the sameĀ Ā
