Tarry

Tarry, my love: sip and dance; and dance and swirl; and sit
And stand; and stand and sit; and speak the voice—a voice
To speak; and want the stars—the stars of want; and give a
Scent—a scent to give; and gnaw and climb—and climb
And gnaw; and flit the sun—a sun to flit; and cry and laugh;
And laugh and cry; and never this love; and ever this love;
And never this grey; and ever this grey.

Tarry, my love: a color fey; and paint a kiss—a kiss to paint;
And treble heart—a flying beat; and feature wit—the wit of
Dreams; and even odds—the force of waves; and wind to
Fall—the fall of wind; and touch and want; and want and
Touch; for flowers bloom and blossom love; and such a love
—a love of pang; and such a pang—a pang of joy; and nectar
Sweet, the tear of love; and fantast love—the love of doves.
