"A Taste of Wisdom" An original poem by Joshua David The endless hopes of a ferocious heart brings to light a magnificent shame that blends a sense of fear with the oncoming of sudden blindness of love and reason. To end all life to cover the shadow of guilt gives birth to a never-ending pain which illuminates a world that few will ever know. Vital is the clarity to see past riotous virtues of the deceitful and magnify the miracle of manipulation to evolve past primitive insight. We reach for nothing, but strive for the justified satisfaction of vengeance that cycles a system without the fires of the Sun. Do not waste time indulging in mortal games of lies and vanity, for these will taint character flaws and sharpen the blades of desired perfection. Taste the tears of the angel that guides us into oblivion and holds us on the promises of sanctuary and purgatory. Cry out for everything, and laugh in dire need for universal truths and the misguided praise of false gods that mock the sanity of peace and promise. We all physically fade to nothing, but it is our minds that evolve to the stars and speak conversations of time.
