Teardrops Fall

Teardrops Fall

Teardrops Fall

Teardrops fall from your sad blue eyes
That are bluer than the bluest skies

Tell me why you are so sad my friend
Because your relationship came to an end

Look up to the heavens and count the stars
Try to be happy right here where you are

Kneel down and say a silent prayer
I’m sure you’ll find comfort there

Throw all of your cares to the wind
Plant a new seed and let it begin

Take a good long look in the mirror
Let the reasons you parted become clearer

Take a long walk to the ocean shore
Let the incoming waves move you more

Wipe the all of the tears away from your eyes
Wait for the promise of a new day come sunrise

Losing a lover can be such a sad affair
Just know that I love you and I am there

Let me kiss all of your sadness goodbye
And show you that there’s no reason to cry
