Tears For Pluto

Tears For Pluto

Dedicated to Leah Cabael Yodico-and her dearly departed Pluto

Our eyes fill with tears, our hearts and Souls both weep;
We’ve just read Leah’s poem, her dear Pluto’s in God’s keep!
Just like our dearest Cody, he was fourteen, when Fate stole him away;
When she knew she had to end his pain, on that most terrible of days!
.
She held him very closely, as he looked into her eyes;
“I love you my dear Mommy, but I have to say goodbye”!
She looked up into the blue sky, then prayed to God above;
“Please keep him safe in Heaven, please give him all Your love”!
.
Then Pluto took his last breath, as her sobbing filled the air;
Our doggies have such short longevity, so totally unfair!
We send you our heartfelt condolences, we share with you the pain;
If there’s anything we can do for you, by your side we’ll e’er remain!
.
.
                                 Tears for dear Pluto
                            Leah’s Beloved Soulmate
                              Now rests beside God

                                 With all our love,
                          Linda and Larry Ran xxx

Dear Larry,
words are not enough to thank you for this wonderful poem..
Like your SOUL MATE Cody, Pluto was also 14 years old.  Pets are like children. From day 1 till the end.. We watched them grew up. But we know when we adopt them , we will one day have to face the END.. I guess, I wasn't ready just yet..

hugs and cheers
Leah

Our Dear Leah,

We will never forget the beautiful poem you wrote for Cody, soon after we lost him.
It brought us such comfort, and eased our excruciating pain a little bit.
Now, at the very same age of fourteen years, you have lost your Beloved Soulmate Pluto.  As we all know, these lovely doggies are much more than just pets to us, they are our children.  There is an old adage that says, "A parent should never have to bury a child", but people who love their precious puppies as much as we do, have to bear that horrible burden.
We have so long questioned why our Beloved canines were given such short longevity, when other species can live seventy-five years.
We are never ready to face "the End", and when it comes, we cry, as Larry has often written about, "The Tears Of Eternity".

All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx
