TEARS OF GOD
OPEN YOUR EYESÂ
LOOK BEYOND THE HORIZONÂ
AND TELL ME,
WHAT DO YOU SEE..
I SEE GOOD HEALTH,
YOUTHFULNESS, STRENGTH,
LONGEVITY, PROSPERITY,
ALL ENCOMPASSING ME
UNTIL I’M A HUNDRED AND THREE.
OPEN YOUR EYESÂ
LOOK BEYOND THE HORIZONÂ
AND TELL ME,
WHAT DO YOU SEE..
I SEE A WORLD FILLED WITH HATE,
AND NO MAN,Â
TO WHOME GOD CAN RELATE TO,
EVERYONE DOING AS THEY CHOOSE,
WICKEDNESS CONSUMES THE HEART,
AND THE INNOCENT, IS BEING KILL OR ABUSED.
OPEN YOUR EYESÂ
LOOK BEYOND THE HORIZONÂ
AND TELL ME,
WHAT DO YOU SEE..
I SEE THE EARTH AS A GRAVEYARD,
FILLED WITH THE SOULS OF MEN,
AND THE HOLY ONE WHOME THEY REJECTED,
WEEPING!
BECAUSE OF THEIR IGNORANCE
OF HIM.

Hmmmn ....this is a beautiful write, the sentiments I would have loved... in a previous life. These days, .I question the good of a god who created a world where the only option is to go against ( our own) good nature in order to survive. Everything that survives in this world is achieved only upon.the torture, suffering and death of another living being. Whether its plants and animals for food, or other peoples for their land and resources. The world is only beautiful when blinkered... scaled down to the beauty of a rose in a garden at sunrise. The bigger picture is abominable. I find myself questioning the goodness of a god who created such a system. ( my view only and not wishing to disrespect your faith)Â
....but still ...i appreciate the beauty of this write...hugs x
