Ted Nugent 1978

(Allentown Pa - 1978)
Two years after celebrating
our nation's bicentenial,
I am 6th grade.
Ted Nugent is a rock-n-roll
new comer and has a
pinball machine promoting
his Weekend Warrior album
playing a guitar that
shots as a shotgun.
He is playing at
the Allentown Agricultural Hall
August 3rd, 1978
to promote his forth album.
Gonzo.
Weekend Warriers.
Cat Scratch Fever.
Free for All.
Name Your Poison.
A 6th grade frined of mine,
Mike Watson,
lives by the Youell's
Osyter House Restaurant
on Walnut Street,
and is in front of his apartment,
when a bus pulls up in front of him.
The bus door opens up,
and standing in doorway
is the Detroit City
Motor Madman,
in the flesh.
Ted Nugent says,
"Hi kid! Would you like
to check out the tour bus
and meet the band?"
That has to be
one of Mike's
favorite
summer
memories.
I was never a big
Nugent fan,
how awesome
for him to
give such a
memorary for
a young fan.
