Teen stereotype

Ella

“You all”
“they all.”
“they all do that.”
label by looks not actions.

“teens are”
“Need to grow up”
“All teens act babyish”
One little action forever marks

“Girls are all”
“Why do girls cry so much”
“All girls equal clown faces.”
Treated as if breakable

“Every boy is so”
“Boys need to mature”
“Boys are so dumb”
Act as if their existence is unworthy

“You all”
“They all”
We all categorize others
Labeled as stereotype.

The words in quotations are things I've picked up from kids in my school, or things I just heard around. I think that some people are really getting bad about putting people in groups and putting labels on others. feel free to tell me what you think about this. Thanks for reading my poem!

Dear Poet ELLA!!
This is Friggin' BRILLIANT!!.....seriously insightful observations....especially from one....and I HATE to say this.....so young!!......because you write beyond your years......But.....the reason I say this is Off the Charts poetically....is because you accomplished something extremely difficult here.....in using the words of others....and creating SERIOUS art from it is NOT an easy task!!......your formatting is what made this ring so profoundly within the bell shot of truth!!....because without the truth you would have been much less impactful!!......EVERYTHING ~ and I mean EVERYTHING you conveyed here were things that I've heard or could relate to because of past experiences......so what I'm saying is "You Nailed This!!".......and I believe just about EVERYONE who has gone to High School would agree with me!!........PINNED.....smokin' grooves dear poet sister!!......smokin' ass grooves!!.......well done!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo ?✴❤
