" ON THE TELEPHONE..."

I`m so glad I came on here tonight, T....this poem is charming man, ode to the telephone and the dying art of conversation, was talking to someone this very weekend about how the world communicates in codes and symbols but words and the sound of the human voice are priceless, the senses brother are irreplaceable,  there was no telephone in the house I was born in in Trinidad, as children we would walk down the street to the post office to call overseas, and take turns speaking on the phone,  I always saw the telephone as magic, bringing the voice of loved ones right to you even though they were hundreds or even thousands of miles away, I love this poem bro.  really well written....amazing conception, thanks for posting this, wow....cheers pal
