Tell Her

Have you seen this girl?
The one with gemstones in her eyes
That girl that never told lies
She had dark brown hair
Dye it she would never dare
She was five foot three
Tell me, is that who you see?
She had every ones grace
Because her problems she always faced.
Her lips were red as a cherry
But now all those things are just memories.
It's been some time since she went away
In her place I was put here to stay
I'm not like herÂ
I never know what to do
Everyone despises meÂ
It's her they want to see.
If you see the girl which I speak of,
Tell her it's her everyone loves
Tell her I need her here
So everyone again will hold me dear.
Why did she leave?
Now all I do is grieve
I cry for that side of me that I lost.
I want her back but what will be the cost?
My eyes no longer shine
The lies are now all mine
The dark hair is now dyed
With just existing I seem to make everyone cry.
If you see the girl who always shined,
Tell her to come back
For it is love that I lack.
Have you seen this girl?
If so, ask her if she cares
Tell her I'm on the verge of despair.Â

enjoyed she's there just let her back out to shine again x
This is a great poem about identity crisis. If people want that girl back they should do what they did at first to have her and give her the love and support she used to have that made her that way. The truth is the society and world around us and the way people treat us, what they do or stop doing to us changes us.
It's hard as a human being to not change when you under go so many changes and realize the ways of the world.
