TELL IT TO ME
If ever I meet the Creator...
I will not ask for the reasons why...
I will let Him do all the talking...
I'm sure His story will be better than any story I have read or heard...
When I'm asked about my life...
May it just be as simple as looking down and in silence together we will see...
I won't ask about my broken heart or any of my brokeness...
I will just be thankful that He fulfilled His promise even when He didn't have to...
May I hear Him only speak, I know my own voice and He knows it all...
May I hear Him say I made you unique and after all these years you didn't forget...
May He continue to say I know you had many questions for me why aren't you asking me now?
I just want to walk by your side and hear your voice tell it to me...
