Ten tiddly tadpoles 🐸
Fitzgerald the Frog lived under the rapid rolling river lily leaf
His ten tiny tiddly tadpoles often gave him unnecessary grief
Swimming to the start of the waterfall, and hanging on for dear life onto a rugged, rocky reef
When Fitzgerald spent most of his Daddy doses, rescuing the lot, much to his annoyance of continuously having beef
But one sunny very late midsummers afternoon
And Mammy Frieda Frog can remember this event all too well, it was the fifth of June
On what should have been a beautiful evening, and by the light of the fluorescent full moon
There was a sudden storm swished thru the wild waters, and washed away their leafy home like a raging lagoon
Well as all of the ten tired, tiddly tadpoles were lying sleeping in their little lily leaf beds
Dreaming about adventures and that freshness of the flowing waterfall, in their hazy, hollow heads
An almighty river surge swooped underneath each and every tiny tiddler, scooping them away with their slimy green bedspreads
When much to the utter relief of both Fitzgerald and Frieda Frogs, an old tree trunk had miraculously dammed just before that cascading cataract, leaving memories from the utter carnage and reallocating of their happy homesteads…
