‘Tesco Wear & Tear’

I’ve seen the day when a weekly food shop was simply a mere walk in the park
You may wonder where this is going, it’s a shot in the dark
I took my eldest daughter to another Tesco over one hour away
But my goodness me this store was mahoosive & I kept loosing my way

An endless line of aisles
Chocker block with household goods
Selling everything imaginable from bric-a-brac to everyday foods
Well tho I knew the things I wanted
I hadn’t a clue where they were about
So on numerous occasions I stood in bewilderment & doubt

Yes this collasol Tesco was larger than I’ve ever seen
But I spent most of the time innit 
‘Sick as a parrot’ if you see what I mean

So needless to say now that I have arrived safely home
I am in for the rest of the day
I am knackered with my roam

No more gallavanting for me
I need a well earned rest from that ordeal
I shall sit jotting my ditties
Giving my ‘Wear & Tear’ time to heal
