THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL

When you're old and look back at the years 
It's a question of yesterday's laughter and tomorrow's tears 
Many things I'm sure you wish you had the time to do 
Only on this earth once it's the same for me and you 

I think you should remain grateful for what you did 
Look back fondly at the times when you were a kid 
When the final day on earth does duly arrive 
Be thankful that you entered this world fully alive
