That Boy

Response to 'That Girl' (Carla Ingram)

https://cosmofunnel.com/poems/that-girl-175733

That boy strutting like a wrestler
he be driving with the speed of a hustler
He works or doesn't at his convenience
Fights in the streets to attract an audience
That boy takes girls riding like they are his bitches
He demands loyalty
puts bullets through snitches
But soon the karma catches up
God's wrath has overflowed its cup
Cops go snap
and he gets time
His future gone for a dance with crime
One day his bastards will want his money
No more sweet living off crack and honey
Nothing but enemies from start to end
What a lonely existence without a  friend
